We left our camp, bumpity bump bump along the gravel road to Route 95, and up 20 miles to Quartzsite, AZ. The is a place where hundreds and hundreds of RVs gather during the winter, but by this time in February a large portion of them have left. The place is full of flea markets or swap meets, but again a large number of them have already closed up and left. We spent the morning wandering around looking at these, but didn't really see anything of much interest.
Surrounding Quartzsite there are numerous free BLM (Bureau of Land Management) lands where you can park in the desert, and that's what we have done for tonight (N33 38 54.1, W114 16 59.2). We went for a walk down the road this evening, but that's about all the news I can think of for today. There was the usual colourful sunset.
