Back Down To Warmer Dryer Weather

It rained all night, and continued all morning long.  We left the RV park just after 11am, after cleaning out all our tanks while we had full hookups.  As we made our way out from Stewart, the weather improved somewhat to the point where we could see the glacier!

I had a look through binoculars:

The further south we went the better the weather became, and when we arrived at Tyhee Lake Provincial Park (N54 42 16.3, W127 02 12.1) It was sunny and warm (at least warmer:  66.5 degrees F).

The campsites are just like every other BC park :)

But there were nice areas down by the shore:

And a good swimming area where the kids went swimming:

We had a nice dinner (at least all of us except Doreen who spent the time sleeping), which Eric and Sarah cooked.  All had showers, the campground had good free showers, and then a campfire in the evening.
