Aunt Ann's Place

Well, sister Ann to me.

We were going to have showers this morning, but when Doreen went to the campground shower building, she discovered that you have to pay, and for the amount of time she usually takes, it was going to cost $6. She figured it wasn't worth it. So, after a leisurely breakfast we departed and drove the relatively short distance along the Yellowhead trail, through Edmonton to Ann's place just west of St. Albert, Alberta. She still lives by herself on the farm property in this big home that once housed the family of six kids.

Looks like she's still taller than me. I may yet end up taller; it will depend on who is shrinking the fastest.

Ann has 17 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Here they all are lined up on the wall, mostly in various student and graduation pictures.
My niece Nancy who lives right next door came over in the evening with her one grandchild and this little one is a cutie!

It had clouded over during the drive today, and now it is raining lightly, but at least it's not cold!
