We sat outside and enjoyed our cup of coffee in the pleasant sunny morning, before getting underway to tackle the Los Angeles traffic. Miss Travelaire would rather go back to Borrego Springs! But, except for the last 25 miles or so, the traffic was not bad. It thickened up the further we went on, but Miss Travelaire soldiered on and brought us to Frank G. Bonelli Regional County Park. Now, if I'd known how much this park was going to cost, we would have gone back to Chino Hills State Park where we camped for $30 last Sunday/Monday. This park was more than twice that much, and both parks are equidistant from the cruise ship terminal for our final leg tomorrow morning. And, as you can see from the picture, we are basically camped in a paved parking lot.
It was time to pack our bags this evening ready for our cruise. We are supposed to board the ship at 1:15 tomorrow. With light traffic it should take about an hour from here, but it is more likely to take an hour and a half, judging from the traffic delays shown on Google and Apple Maps. We will really be getting into the inner sanctums of Los Angeles tomorrow! Hope Miss Travelaire and the GPS lady can figure out how to get us into the cruise ship terminal parking lot.
Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful day.
Have fun on your cruise - how long will you be out on the ocean blue. Say hi to Steve & family
