More Oregon Coast

On the way out of the campground, we were going to go to the lighthouse that was in the Cape Blanco park. But when we got there we found that it was open Wednesday through Monday. Today is Tuesday!!
That was a bad omen for today!

The scenery is nice though.

We wanted to see the sea lions on the way up the coast, but when we got to the sea lion caves tourist trap, there were no sea lions to be seen, and we didn't really want to pay an exorbitant price to climb down a steep path and then have to climb back up. This was the scenery at this place though.

We headed for Beverly Beach State Park, but when we got there, it was full. They told us that the next state park north, Devil's Lake State Park may have some spots available, and Eric phoned and they said there were 10 sites available. So, we drove the 20 or 30 minutes north, and when we arrived, they said it was full!
We finally found a private KOA campground on the same lake, and here we are, all settled in for the night. Not too much in the way of pictures through.
