Hectic Day for The Other Bunch

The kids have a great time riding around the campgrounds on their bikes!

 

We had a leisurely time this morning getting away; probably should have set out earlier! And, we all stopped for a long time at a Costco along the way. Awhile after we left Costco we got a text from the other RV saying they were stopped on the side of the road with the same engine problem they had yesterday. They got it going again, but it acted up again in short order. They went the rest of the way going slow up the hills to keep the pressure low enough that the tube didn't slip off its coupling. Thought we were behind them, and we were looking out for them along the way, but it turned out they were behind of us, and soon far behind. We got to our campground, Valley of the Rogue State Park (N42 24 24.9, W123 08 24.3) near Grants Pass, OR at 6pm, and it was around 8pm before they pulled in. A long hot day for them, but everyone were in good spirits when they arrived. Eric even put the awning, and lights out.

 

While Eric & Sarah were setting up, we took the kids over to our campsite (around the other side of the circle), and fed them a little snack.

 

It's pretty warm around here! All the life support systems are really necessary - especially the electrial to run the air conditioner! It was 100 F here when we arrived (that's 38 C for all you young folk).

 

Well, we sat around the campfire (propane no less), while Eric worked on fixing his passenger side intercooler pipe!
