RPCNA

We were up in time to drive the 50 miles into Phoenix to church at 10am this morning. We attended the Reformed Presbyterian Chruch of North America, which is about as far from the Oaklands Chapel in Victoria, in terms of a worship service, as you could possibly get. They don't have a band for entertainment for sure. As a result, there are fewer attendees. But, it was a beautiful service, and extremely friendly people. The singing was incredible; these people could really sing, and of course it was easy to hear them over the accompaniment :) The place is quite a bit larger than this picture appears, and they are obviously big on Christian Schooling. The pastor just returned from a Legonier's conference in Florida and was all excited about that.

We were invited for lunch, but Doreen wasn't feeling too well, so we drove over to a Walmart parking lot and had lunch in the motorhome. Then we drove about an hour up Interstate 17 (in the direction of Flagstaff), and off onto 89A, which is the road that runs up through Sedona. We went off on a gravel forest service road 525 where there are places alongside where people camp. We found a nice pulloff with a fire ring and are here for tonight (N34 49 59.8, W111 54 29.6).

The elevation here is near 4000 feet, so as you can see, there is quite a bit more vegetation that there was in the desert at lower elevations.
