We continued north on US101, which is a nice 4-lane divided highway in these parts, and a nice road for Miss Travelaire if there’s not much traffic. The traffic got heavy, however, as we passed built-up areas, and since the speed limit is 65 mph (about 105 km/h), Miss Travelaire complains quite a lot.
We had booked a camping spot at Sanborn County RV Park (N37 13 56.3, W122 03 45.9), which is a very large park but with a very small RV campground just southwest of San Jose. It was the only place I could find with vacant spots on a Saturday night. It seems nice, but there is no cell service here. There is WiFi, but only if I go outside and across the other side of the camping area, so that’s what I’ll have to do to send out my blog tonight.
This afternoon this new Tesla truck came in, and they put up this tent contraption for awhile before taking it down and leaving. Somehow it blows up, and then when they are ready to go it deflates again. I don’t know whether this girl is taking a picture of the truck, or looking at herself in her iphone!
That was a beautiful museum and you’re “On The Road Again”. No moss growing under your feet (or wheels of Miss Travelier” 😂. Doreen look like she had a cozy jacket on - is it still chilly where you are. We are doing communion setup tomorrow and since it’s the starting of Daylights Savings Time we will be setting our clock ahead 1 hr so it not 9 it’s really 10:00. So on that note we will say goodnight Luv2both T&S ❤️🙏🏼

ReplyDeleteHi Robert. Fun seeing that you and Doreen have been to some of the same places that we’ve visited. We got back on Friday. On our trip North from the Bay area we stopped at the Dunnigan Rest Area (not too bad, kinda noisy) and decided to check out casinos after that. We don’t gamble but had heard they were a good place to spend the night. We stopped at 7 Feathers in Canyonville, Oregon and at 7 Cedars in Sequim, Washington (we take the Black Ball Ferry home). Both were great and we’d definitely stay again. Safe travels!
