We took our time this morning, and didn't get away until around 11 AM. We weren't at all sure where we were headed, and just drove north on Interstate 5. We ended up going over Siskiyou Pass into Oregon; it's quite scenic along here. Doreen wanted a private RV place with full hookups, and we finally decided on an RV park at Ashland, Oregon, just over the border from California. But when we got there, we found it was a real dump. Doreen said "We're not staying there!" But just down the road, we saw there was a county park (N42 09 35.6, W122 36 49.5) on a lake formed by Emigrant Dam. It turned out to be quite good, with full hookups. It is really cold and windy though, so we'll be staying inside tonight. I guess we're back in the Northwest, where summer weather doesn't start for several more months.!
Not much else to say today, and few pictures. Scraping the bottom of the barrel as far as pictures goes, here's a picture of a dinosaur.
