| Doreen doing her needle point, Dungeness Recreation Area |
It was a pretty uneventful day today. We left Walmart in Longview, WA at about 9am after spending more than $70 in the store - a pretty expensive campsite! No problem with traffic today, and it is a pleasant drive up along the Hood Canal to Sequim, WA. (That's pronounced "Squim", of course :). We thought we'd camp at a private RV place, but when we got there it was one of those ones where the RVs are jammed together with a few inches between. So, we went to the Dungeness Recreation Area instead, which is on the Strait of Juan de Fuca about half way between Sequim and Port Angeles. No WiFi here though :(.
But the WiFi last night was great. Even though we camped at Walmart, we got great WiFi from Home Depot next door. I guess the home improvement stores are the places to go for good Wifi. They seem to broadcast it all over their parking lots, whereas most stores try to confine it to inside.
It's a beautiful clear sunny day, and we can look across the water to Victoria (after walking down a short trail to the cliffs at the water's edge). It's really cool here today compared with yesterday afternoon when we were quite warm enough parked in Lowe's parking lot.
